EDITING & POST PRODUCTION FOR PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS

WHY OUTSOURCE?
Editing is hugely time consuming and for many it can often be quite stressful too. If you’re a full time photographer then the chances are it takes up most of your days in-between shooting.
By taking the leap to outsource this part of your business, you can free up time to focus in others areas of your business, to shoot more, or perhaps spend quality time with your family.
We’re constantly striving for that perfect work/life balance which is so incredibly important for our health, happiness and overall wellbeing and this could be the single most biggest way that will help you achieve that.
The one thing that stops most photographers from outsourcing is the fear that no one else can edit like they do and the inability to ‘let go’ of the reins as a result. If that sounds like you and your on the fence as a result then my advice to you is to just send one edit over and trust in the process. You’ll soon be wondering why you didn’t do it sooner! I can say with complete confidence that I edit regularly for many photographers, all with varying styles from all over the world. It’s my jam and I’m incredibly passionate about what I do.

THE PROCESS
01. SAY HELLO
Get in touch via my contact form at the bottom of this page to get the ball rolling. I’ll respond and be able to answer any questions you might have.
02. Send your files
Send your lrcat/smart previews via wetransfer/filemail/dropbox so I can work on your images remotely. There is a help guide on my site if you haven’t sent a catalogue before and if you need any extra help then I’ll be able to assist.
03. TURNAROUND
My standard turnaround at my busiest time during wedding season is between 3- 5 weeks depending on the size of the edit, however I will always do my best to accommodate and meet your needs if you have urgent edits or require shorter turnarounds so please ask!
04. REVIEW your edit
I’ll send your edit via an online gallery. If you would like any changes then the gallery will be updated and resent for a second review or until you’re happy.
05. PAYMENT
If you’re happy with the edit you can send payment through the online invoice you will receive at the same time as the gallery. It’s a very straight forward, easy process!
06. files returned
Once payment is received you’ll be sent your lrcat folder within 24hrs via dropbox.

WHY ME?
Well firstly, you’ll know it’s only me editing your work, answering the phone or replying to your email. Secondly, this isn’t just a job to me - I’m really invested in what I do and I find it hugely rewarding knowing that I am helping to contribute to the success of your business as well as being the reason you get to spend more time doing more of what you love.
I see editing as being just one part of the job. It’s just as important that you feel at ease in trusting me with your work. I encourage you to treat me like I’m your own in-house editor rather than someone supplying a service to you. I’m joining your team and it’s in both of our best interests to want to achieve the same end goal - an edit that brings your work to life in a way that best reflects you, your brand and your style.
